The Art of Letting Go

To let go doesn’t mean you are weak,
It just means you have accepted reality.

To let go is not to give up,
It is to turn impossibilities to probable possibilities.

To let go is not running away,
But another chance to make the most of yourself.

To let go is not a matter of forgetting,
It is just switching lights off in unwanted rooms.

In letting go, there are no regrets,
It is a way to free yourself from denial.

To let go is not divorcing the past,
It is just celebrating the future.

To let go doesn’t mean you lost the fight,
It just means you are looking for other places where to fight.

To let go doesn’t mean you don’t love that someone anymore,
It just means you have finally learned to love yourself much more.

To let go doesn’t mean you don’t care anymore,
It just means you somehow let a dear soul rest in peace.

To let go is just a simple admittance,
That, after all, life goes on.

To let go is an art,
When all you have to do is to take a new brush,
To draw a new picture on a new white paper
